Many people who exercise often discover they want to know when is the best time to exercise for them. With the busy lives we lead these days that is an understandable question. It’s most important to start with something whether you are seasoned or just starting out. You have to do with what you have, even if that means only a few times a week its better than not at all. The economy has played a large role in the decline of exercise nationally because many are taking second jobs to make ends meet. Most people working like this don’t have time during the week for exercise. You will get a better benefit from weekend workouts than you will with no workouts at all.
Before you decide to proceed, you need to understand that missing out on the perfect time to exercise doesn’t give you excuse to miss out on your workout routines. If you fail to make it to the gym, you can always try a bodyweight workout routine like the Bodyweight Blueprint for Fat Loss to get results.
Some prefer to workout in the mornings. For example, they find that it really wakes them up and gets their energy and blood in full swing for the day. A lot of times people feel so good after a morning work-out that they feel like anything can be taken on. Once your blood gets moving you may feel more focused and alert. This way you will already be well on your way to a great day while the rest of the office is still trying to wake up.
It is more challenging to have a regular workout routine when you have a schedule that changes. It can certainly seem that there is no best time when your work and sleep are always flopping back and forth.
I do know the feeling about that one and know your pain! But, just keep in mind that the single most important consideration and thought is how important regular exercise is for you. Above average demands make it harder to get into a routine, but you can figure it out. I have done this and I have seen others do it as well so I know that can also.
The most ideal time to exercise is in the afternoon, and preferably a bit later in the day. Biologically speaking, it is better if you do an afternoon workout. Because your body is already warmed up you are less likely to get injured. No matter what there is always a but, however you should not let that stop you from starting a fitness workout program. Your best bet is to set your schedule to your needs and let your body adapt which it will eventually do.
Regardless of your work schedule, you can allow your body to become accustomed to exercise. You might be surprised to learn how quickly your body will adapt to even the strenuous 10 mile run or weight training schedule. Be patient but keep at it and soon you’ll notice that your body resists less.
