Washington DC Bathroom Remodeling has some great ideas about the value of remodeling a bathroom – one that hits my situation right on target.

Now most people think about how much “dollar value” a bathroom renovation will add to the value or appraisal of their house. That factor is definitely one to consider when the national average says remodeling a bathroom will return an average of 71% of the renovation cost when you sell your home. Not a bad investment – especially when updated bathrooms are high on potential buyers’ wish lists.

However, the specific value that’s #1 for my wife and me is the additional space it provides for both of us. Now we both have our own sink, our own space, and our own cabinet. Much better for our morning routine and our marriage!
